About the Conference

The 2011 RIU Good Oil Conference, which reached near-record numbers despite the economic cold front which swept the economy, was dominated by one phrase: unconventional coal and gas.

Twelve months on, the RIU Good Oil Conference 2012 will bring you up-to-date with the exciting developments which have taken place in in the oil and gas industy.

You will hear presentations from the leaders of the country’s emerging oil and gas companies on recent developments and new discoveries plus an outline of future plans. You will also have the opportunity to meet these industry leaders at what has become the most popular conference in Australia for the mid-tier and junior sector of the oil and gas market.

Once again it will be held in the state-of-the-art conference centre at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle, where you can enjoy the ambience of Australia’s most beautiful port city.

Curtin Technical Auditorium

Following on strong support in previous years, the RIU Good Oil Conference will once again be convening a second auditorium to enable to presentation of technical content across a broad range of subject matter.

The technical auditorium will hold technical presentations in conjunction with the corporate presentations in the main auditorium.

This format was graciously received at the 2010 event, as it enhanced the appeal of the conference to delegates with an operational background and provided useful and thought provoking information on an area of significance to market participants.

Venue

The RIU Good Oil Conference 2012 will be held at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle (located on the corner of Marine Terrace and Essex Street, Fremantle).

Cocktails by the Sea

Join us at The View Restaurant, Fremantle on Tuesday 4 September 2012 for the RIU Good Oil Cocktails by the Sea Function.

Relax and enjoy the sumptuous food and quality beverages being served throughout the evening.

This event is included as part of the delegate registrations, however additional tickets for partners or colleagues can be purchased at $110.00 (incl. GST) each.

RIU Good Oil Golf Day

Come join us rain, hail or shine for 18 holes of Ambrose at the picturesque Collier Park Golf Course on Friday 7 September 2012.

Following on two previous successful events, we anticipate that the 2012 golf day will be highly received by conference participants and attendees.

This event provides the unique opportunity to network with fellow industry colleagues and investors outside of the conference arena.

We have 22 teams of four available and the maximum handicap is also set at 22. Registration costs for this event are as follows:

• Single Registration - $70.00 (incl. GST)
• Team Registration (four players) - $280.00 (incl. GST)

Refreshments and afternoon tea will be provided at the conclusion of the game, along with presentations and prizes for the best and worst plays of the day.
